Analysis of Competitors Fight in Business Technology Sector

The thesis analyses competitive environment of suppliers of concurrent quality control technology in industrial enterprises and research laboratories. The thesis provides concepts for a creation of competitive advantages and related higher evaluation of costs and diferentiation than competition. Further it compares technologies from various manufacturers, comparing economical and technical parametres. The evaluation of results follows a presentation of approachs to achieve the most efficient competitors fight management. The thesis also include prognosis of future conditions in the business technology sector on Czech and Slovak market and concept of an appropriate format of effective competitive intelligence. In conclusion there is a presentation of a quality and quantity concept evaluation with emphasis on economic gain of presented solution.

Dynamic Network Risk across main U.S. sectors

We study the effects of financial networks formed by the connectedness of stock return volatilities within sectors of the S&P 500 Index. We test whether the risk arising from dynamic volatility connections is priced in the cross-section of stock returns. Separately, for each sector, we estimate the dynamic network formed by firm-level realized volatilities from 2006 to 2018. We study how connectedness differs across sectors. Comparing the sector results, we conclude that there is a homogeneous pattern that describes the development of volatility connectedness. The pattern holds across all sectors throughout the studied period and is shaped by major financial events. We create risk factors that attempt to assess the risk arising from dynamic volatility connections. For each sector, we create a factor model that we test using the Fama-Macbeth regression. The results provide evidence that the created risk factors are priced in four out of ten sectors, that is, significant results are found in the Energy, Financials, Industrials, and Consumer Discretionary sectors.

Fundamental and technical analysis of stock title Airbus Group

My bachelor thesis is focused on fundamental and technical analysis of stock title Airbus Group and depending on that fact is the aim of my work the formulation of investment recommendation. The thesis consists of four chapters. First of them is concerned with global analysis and its impact on the stock market. The second chapter deals with sector analysis, where my aim was to examine the branch od Aerospace and Defence in detail. In the last part I carried out corporate analysis and with individual models I tried to determine, what is the intrinsic value of the stock. Technical analysis and to that related ways of prediction of the next trend development are stated in the fourth and also last chapter of my thesis.

Second part of the work is practical aplication of these methods on the specific business entity.

This Master's thesis deals with the strategic analysis of the company KMOTR - Masna Kroměříž a.s. for the period 2009 -- 2013 and a comparison of its results with selected competitors. Consequently there is analysed the sector where KMOTR operates. The thesis is divided into three major parts. The first part deals with the theoretical basis for financial analysis and strategic sector analysis. Another part is focused on the analysis of the production and preserving of meat and meat products and introduction of selected competitors. Last part comprises my own analysis based on public financial statements. In the conclusion there is presented a summary of the most important results and recommendations for improvement of the company situation.

The goal of the bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the financial health of the company LONZA BIOTEC s.r.o. This firm produces substances for the pharmaceutical and chemical industry by using biotechnology. The firm is a member of the global concern LONZA. There are used generally accepted methods of financial analysis, for example the elementary analysis of financial statements, analysis of profitability, liquidity, economic value added EVA and future predictions. A part of the bachelor thesis is a comparison between the analysed firm and the biotechnological sector.

The impementation of the Strategic Analysis of Bonatrans, a. s. is the main object of the Diploma Thesis. The firm is operating in the market as a supplier of the railway components. Due to the worldwide scope of activities of the firm, the Thesis is focused on the External analysis with the emphasis on the opportunities and threats seeking, arising from the increasing globalization, the high degree of international integration and the changes in the Railway Indusry Sector. The Thesis comprises The International Business Sector Analyis, Competitive Analysis and it takes into account the population growth, urbanization and the impact of climatic change and technological revolution. The practical part of the Thesis is fully based on the theoretical part. After determining the Business Factors of Success and Cmpetitive advantage the Strategic Recommendations for further development of the company are established.
